Two policemen were shot dead Wednesday in the Saihat area of Qatif in Saudi Arabia, AFP reports.
The attack occurred in the early hours of the morning in a predominantly Shia community, the kingdom’s interior ministry said.
The gunmen have not yet been identified.
Saudi Arabia has witnessed a wave of deadly attacks in recent months by Daesh supporters, targeting the kingdom’s minority Shia citizens.
