As part of Jumeirah’s ongoing commitment to Emiratisation in the Hospitality & Tourism industry, the Dubai-based luxury hospitality group has recently employed twenty eight young UAE Nationals for its luxury hotels in Dubai.
The new recruits have started their careers in several of the Jumeirah hotels in Dubai, including Burj Al Arab, Emirates Towers Hotel, The Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Jumeirah strategic support units, where they have taken up full time positions in a variety of departments including reservations, guest services, training, information technology and security. A warm welcome was extended to the UAE Nationals who, as part of their introduction to the hospitality & tourism industry, joined Jumeirah’s dedicated and specially developed training programme ‘Al Tawteen’.

It is a two week programme dedicated to personal development and training within their specific departments. After successful completion of the programme, the new Jumeirah colleagues will take up their positions in the company.

are very committed to hiring and developing UAE Nationals and we have seen an increased positive response and interest in careers within our industry.”
Amal Ghani, Emiratisation Manager, Jumeirah, said: “Jumeirah’s Al Tawteen initiative is a vital step towards the success of the emiratisation programmes within Dubai. We look forward to welcoming even more UAE Nationals selecting a career in the hospitality & tourism industry.”
