On the occasion of Eid Al Adha festival, many local home businesses in Qatar are promoting their products on social media platforms, offering a range of special Eid-themed gifts and merchandise for customers.
Speaking to Qatar Tribune, the owner of a gift shop on Instagram said that there has been a great demand from citizens and residents for food, sweets and gifts for Eid Al Adha.
"As many people organise family gatherings on the occasion of Eid, the demand for food and sweets items with special Eid designs is great. Those attending similar gatherings also choose to order gifts for the family members and friends they are visiting," she said.

She added that one of the most popular products is the envelope for kids' Eidiya which is a monetary gift customarily given to children on the occasion of Eid.
The business owner said that orders are sometimes placed months before the start of Eid Al Adha and usually continue even until the night of Eid day."Although the demand is overwhelming, we try our best to deliver all the orders in a timely manner and with the best quality," she added.
