Norway midfielder Martin Odegaard suffered an injury during a game against Austria in the UEFA Nations League on Monday.

The former Real Madrid star is now facing an anxious wait regarding the extent of his injury.

The Gunners captain had to leave the pitch in the 67th minute, and Norway boss Stale Solbakken revealed later that it could be a long term injury.

The 25-year-old could return to action in the next international break in October.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are set to face Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Sunday, and it appears they will have to make do without Odegaard for the time being.
