AS Roma are reportedly in an advanced stage in their talks to sign former Borussia Dortmund star Mats Hummels.
The veteran defender became a free agent following the end of his deal at Dortmund earlier this summer.
Therefore, the Italian giants have submitted an offer to the 35-year-old, as per Il Corriere dello Sport.
Hummels has accepted a one-year deal plus another year that would start when he reaches 50% of appearances.
He is set to earn around €2m plus bonuses.
Roma recently added former Atletico Madrid defender Mario Hermoso to their back line.
