ALBAWABA - The movie "Oppenheimer" has recently come out, and it already managed to earn around $180.4 million, and while the success of the movie is great, the success also affected a certain book
The movie Oppenheimer is based on the true life story of the American physicist, Julius Robert Oppenheimer, born in the year 1904. A biography was written about him by Martin J. Sherwin and Kai Bird, named "American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer", which tells the tale of the American physicist dubbed as "the father of the atomic bomb".
The biography is about 700 pages long, and it tells the story of Oppenheimer's life from his undergraduate studies at Cambridge University all the way through his life as a brilliant physicist and genius, especially the major contributions he made to quantum science and theoretical physics.
It is expected that the movie will win international awards, especially since it is the first film to comprehensively address the subject of the inventor of the atomic bomb in Hollywood.

Due to the movie's success and popularity, the book, which was published in 2005, landed on the best-selling list in the book market in the United States. Variety magazine stated that the genius American director, Christopher Nolan, is a fan of epic works, and when he read the book in 2021, after which, he decided to turn it into a movie.
Director Christopher Nolan adapted the film from the biography written by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin. Bird stated that he was amazed when he read Nolan's script and how closely the script coincided with the original text, and said that Nolan succeeded in capturing the plot and the paradoxes of the personality wonderfully.
And it seems Christopher Nolan's hard work paid off as the Oppenheimer movie earned an estimated $50.5 million during its premiere alone, and international newspapers reported that 5.8 million tickets for the Oppenheimer movie were purchased.
